The International Trainee Program for Financial Management (IFM) puts you on track for an exciting career in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Controlling and Tax (FACT community) at Bayer.
Throughout the 18-month program, you will work closely with our highly skilled and experienced financial management professionals during rotations in several FACT functions at the headquarters of Bayer in Leverkusen and Monheim as well as on national and international assignments. Depending on your schedule, you will contribute to projects and processes that enable the businesses of Bayer to offer innovative products and solutions to the most fascinating challenges of our society as you gain insights into planning, reporting, accounting, audit and tax. The practical training will help you achieve your personal career aspirations and offers you prospects of an international career and a chance to play a valuable role in the Bayer organization.
At the end of your trainee program, you will be prepared to take on a challenging role in the FACT function you are assigned to. Our top leaders are involved in assigning trainees, giving you early exposure to this influential group of decision makers. The path and businesses you are assigned to are determined by the needs of our businesses and consideration of your preferences.
Continuously accompanied by personnel development, training and mentoring, you will have a wide range of promising job and career opportunities in the finance and business functions of our global organization. - Master and PhD graduates with superior results, bachelor graduates with additional business qualification

- Knowledge in natural sciences is appreciated

The International Trainee Program for Financial Management offers early exposure to a variety of functions and industries followed by extensive career opportunities.
You will receive personalized support throughout the program from experienced employees, including a mentor who will oversee your experience as a trainee. Functional managers will direct your daily activities during each of the rotations.
In collaboration with your mentor and the respective HR Business Partner you will identify your individual career perspectives, exchange feedback on your performance, and agree on personal and professional development measures.

The program is all year open for applications (as far as trainee demand is given in the particular functional areas). Your starting point for your entry will be individually agreed upon depending on your availability after having successfully completed the application process. Ideally, please apply three to six months before graduation.
